The skin around the eyes is the most delicate, responsive and resilient skin of the body. It tells all of your truths- what you ate for dinner last night and how many hours of sleep you may have missed. Use the skin around your eyes as a way to see how well you are treating your body and when you need to step up your "self-love" game. If you do get caught up and indulge with a couple of decadent meals or stay up until the wee-hours of the morning with your love, use these three tips to help soothe the skin around the eyes. 

3 Quick Fixes For Puffy Eyes

1. ICE BATH: Fill up a bowl that will easily fit your face with ice and water. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Place your face into the bowl and hold your breath for 30 seconds. Take a break. Continue to do this until the 5 minutes are up. This will increase the blood circulation to the skin around the eyes and help to increase the clarity of the eyes. 

1. LIQUIDS: Begin the day with 32 ounces of water with half a lemon. Sip on this for an hour and let the liver detox. Do not eat anything!  Wait 15 minutes after your last sip of lemon water and begin to drink 16 ounces of celery juice. Celery juice is the most powerful way to eliminate excess salt/sugar/toxins from the bloodstream. Wait 15 minutes after your last sip of celery juice to eat anything. This gives the body the proper amount of time to eliminate before you start giving it more substances.

3. SWEAT: Breaking a solid sweat each morning will increase the body's detoxification process.
